Data ownership, device-local cryptographic keys, complete archive exports, and permanent deletion
Learn how Solace Buzz ensures you retain complete ownership of your data, how to export a portable archive of your workspace, and how to permanently delete your account.
1. Complete Data Ownership
In Solace Buzz, your data belongs entirely to you:
• Zero Third-Party Trackers: Neither the desktop app nor this website includes analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or telemetry brokers.
• Device-Local Keys: Your identity keypair is created on your device and remains in your custody.
• Open Storage Formats: Documents, notes, and task records are stored in open formats (Markdown, JSON, Git).
2. Exporting Your Workspace Data
You can export a full, portable copy of your community data at any time:
1. Open Settings → Data Management → Export Data.
2. Click Generate Archive.
3. Solace Buzz packages all channel messages, files, task histories, and audit receipts into a standard ZIP archive.
4. Download the file to your computer. You can read, search, or import this archive into any compatible system.
3. Permanently Deleting Your Data
You have the right to be forgotten:
• Local Data: Simply delete the workspace folder on your machine or uninstall the app. All local caches and key files are immediately destroyed.
• Hosted Community Deletion: If you host a community on Solace infrastructure, open Community Settings → Decommission and confirm deletion. All messages, relays, and reservations are permanently purged.
• Account Email Deletion: Email support@solacebuzz.com with subject Account Deletion Request. We purge all account records within 30 days.
